Great info but nothing new

The Cruise Control Diet isn't groundbreaking. He's basically describing a standard 16:8 intermittent fasting program and using butter coffee to ease hunger pangs. He's very good at sounding like a snake oil salesman but the idea isn't novel. I am a little shocked that Jason Fung was involved but perhaps he will support any effort to win people over to a healthier lifestyle.

It works

Lost 15 lbs. I’m going on month 5 and still follow his guidelines. It’s hard for me to eat any sweets knowing what high sustained insulin levels really do to your body.

Really looking forward to getting started

easy to listen to. easy to take notes. excited to get started. I really liked the way Jorge explained everything . His methods and rationale all made a lot of sense and were very easy to understand.

Ok

I wish that he would have given us a hint about the recipes instead of making us print the pdf or join his Facebook group. I fast and do low-er carb so didn’t learn a lot. But for a beginner who wants to try IF, this is probably a good start.

To the point, easy to comprehend and put to work!

How many "diet/life style" books have you read, a ton right? They always go in circles and wait to the end to really get to the meat & potatoes, as the saying goes. I was done with the audible so fast, easy to comprehend and put to work. I love that it comes with a pdf! I had to call Audible to figure out where to get it because it was a 1st me. Thanks Jorge.
