Amazingly disturbingly awesome!

Jeff Menapace is awesome! I don't want to spoil anything, but a family is tormented by a some very disturbed individuals on vacation, and that's just the first book. Gary Tiedemann is amazing in his delivery and does a fabulous job setting the mood and creating suspense! I love love love this trilogy! I will certainly listen to more by this author and narrator! I will definitely be getting the next book in the series! I received a free review copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you!

Great story

Loved the story. Will definitely read more by this author. Kept me interested though out all 3 books.

wholly cow-wow!

this is one crazy ride. I know some of you are thinking, 20 hours? thats very long. But its 3 books, 3 very good chilling books! there is really not a dull moment in these books. and how the writer tends to keep it going without missing a beat through out all books is a marvel, but he does. these books, are chilling. Chilling in the fact that people out there can be totally crazy. and playings games with your mind, is what gets them off.
This is one I highly recommend.

the narrator did an excellent job bringing this story to life!
as did the writer! I am very glad that Gary read all three books. he did it VERY well.

Not what I expected at all and in a good way!

Loved this series, so much so that I bought the 4th novel as soon as I finished the 3rd one. The series went in so many different directions than I expected it to, it kept my head spinning. I loved all of the characters and the amount of tension if gave me at every turn. And can I say right now...Domino...bad ass character and loved his portrayal. Also a loved the narrator, he gave the books so much life will definitely read other books he narrates.

Unreal how amazing these books were. i enjoyed book 1 and 2 more than 3 but three was still great. Please read, listen or both. Just amazing.

OMG I did not know I could sit on the edge so long

This book (series of books) kept me on the edge of my seat for days. I woke up and would want to turn the book on and listen before I even had coffee. Just by over hearing it my husband bought the book so he could read it at his pace and not make me re-listen so he could catch up.

Gary Tiedmann's narration was perfection. To me the mark of a great narrator is to fade into the background and bring the characters out so you can get to know them and he did that perfectly.

The two women in the story stand out to me. Amy grows so beautifully from book 1 to book 3 she goes from being a suburban housewife and mom to a woman who takes charge of her life. And Monica evil incarnate, she is very one dimensional, but intelligent and driven and self absorbed. Both women have one common trait, both hold family to the highest importance.

Book 4 is already in my library waiting for me to read. I bought it after reading the first because I knew this was a series I was not going to quit on.

All three books were good, a lot of sicko family members came out of the woodwork. Good read!

Keeps you hooked until the very end

Excellent stories. Loved every minute of it, leaves you wanting more. I couldn’t stop listening.

Best listen in AGES!

No lame fight scenes or love interests. Creative. Not bogged down with tons of irrelevant page fillers. Gonna see if the next book(s) keep up the pace.
