K. Bromberg did not come to play with this book! I’m obsessed!! 😍😍 I devoured this audio whole in one sitting. 🤭

Jase & Hendrix together was absolute fire!! 🔥 So much chemistry and literally THE best banter and the sexual tension was through the roof! It what I really really loved about these two was how they ALWAYS showed up for one another. There’s nothing I love more than a supportive partner, who just wants to see you thrive. Gizmo surprised me. I really thought he was going to struggle with being fake married to Hendrix, but this man was made to be her husband. The two of them are complete opposites, but that’s what made them so beautiful. 🥰

Absolutely loved this on audio! This was my first audio by these two VA’s and, honestly, they were so unbelievably good!! I feel like their voices fit the characters personalities, and I was so impressed with them both! I’ll forsure be adding Amy and Ryan to my list to watch out for. 💕

Giz & Cookie

Hendrix Wright is barely holding on to her dream bakery because of her cheating boyfriend and business partner. Bad boy drummer, Jase Gizmodo, seems to be a magnet for scandalized behavior. Due to all his scrapes with the law, a judge is holding Jase's passport for ransom which threatens their popular band from embarking on their upcoming international tour. His brother, who is also his lawyer, tells Jase he needs to turn his reputation around fast. When his brother suggests he get married to prove to the judge that he's settled down, Jase recalls the chance encounter in a coffee shop where he overheard a phone conversation between Hendrix and her ex. She begrudgingly agrees, and the more time Hendrix spends around Jase, the more she realizes how different he is from his reckless public persona. She challenges him in the best ways and looks out for him like no one has, aside from his band mates.
I loved these two and the way they took care of and watched out for one another. Jase has been through so much, and I loved that he found his person! Narrator, Ryan Lee Dunlap did a fantastic job bringing out the playful side of Jase as well as his tormented side when he talked about his family. Amy Hall brought out Hendrix's teasing and vulnerable sides as well. Only thing that would have made it better was hearing Giz's song at the end!

What a great ending

Hendrix is about to lose her cookie shop because her ex cheated on her, then cleaned out the savings account and left her in debt.
Jace Gizmodo is a rock star drummer with family secrets that have caused him to act out all of his life. This time his actions may impact the group and cause them to cancel an international tour. In order to help clean up his reputation, his lawyer/brother, tells him to find a women to marry and to stay out of trouble.
Jace and Hendrix marry for convenience and to help each other with their problems. NDA's are signed, and they both agree not to have sex and cross the line. Needless to say, they couldn't keep that promise.

TEARS!!!

Oh. My. God. I couldn't put this book down. I read and listened to it. It was a beautiful story. It was NOT what I thought it was going to be, I saw Rockstar and ended up with this sweet, sweet man. Rough around the edges, but sometimes you just need someone to melt you back together ❤️ I'm only sad I didn't start with the first book. Now I'm going back to the beginning!

Don’t be fooled by the cover!!

This is by far my favorite rockstar romance! So dang good. I didn’t want to ever end. I really liked book one and wasn’t sure if I’d like this one bc we didn’t really know Gizmo at all, but he hooked me in his first couple chapters. Highly recommend even if you don’t read book one.

And for the love of god- get a new cover! It scaring readers/listeners away. Not corny at all!
