I love the story

The narration was good. I wish it was more of a duet with the male reading for more of the male parts.

The female narrator is okay. she reads a bit faster at certain parts so I have to change the speed to slow it down. I tend to list at a higher speed.

Colton is the perfect wounded Alpha male lead. Strong, proud, Sarcastic, wounded and lovable. Although his past haunts him and he doesn't realize that he's head over heels in love he captured my heart. Following his character growth is amazing. The author perfectly captured his character.

Rylee is one of the best female characters I've read about. She isnt there waiting for him to save her but actively trying to save him. She is strong and let's us see that even strong females have moments of weakness. Moments that even though we know what we should do we are human and can't just walk away.

Ok Story - Horrible Narrator

The story and plot were good, but the narrator wasn’t the best. The characters are young and the narrator is obviously much older + her “male voice” is horrible. If you can look past that then you’ll enjoy.

Disappointing on so many levels. SMH at the positive reviews. Waste of my time. I do not recommend.

It had promise

Smutty, but not well written smut.
Low story, high s*x scenes. I don’t want to call it spice cause I got bored of the scenes after the 2nd one that I just skipped the other smut scenes cause it was pointless and didn’t add to the story.

The story? There really is none. It keeps circling over the same issue over and over and over. He’s afraid to let anyone in but pursues her quite strongly. As soon as he has her, he pushes her away and puts her in her -booty call only- corner.

He’s a giant red flag. They are both poor communicators. He’s someone you need to run away from IRL and she’s someone you shouldn’t emulate when it comes to gaslighting herself by rationalizing his actions. I had high hopes. It didn’t deliver.

The narrators were fine though.
