Not my favorite in the series but still enjoyable!

3.5 rounded up. I wanted to smack Nash upside the head like 20 times. Not enough to stop reading but certainly enough to dock 1 star.

What an impactful story!!

This addition was hands down the strongest, most powerful and emotional story thus far. The depths of which Nash was constantly fighting against himself, his feelings for Jake, the generational curse that was embedded into his psyche was so deep, carrying so much weight in emotions that most people is never going to understand just how reputable generational trauma can become. I truly connected with him because of the understanding of what it’s like to be raised in superstitions and those feelings are validated in their minds. I am happy Jake stuck by him through it all, even if it took a long while but their love was so strong and pure that every heartbreak was worth the pain.

Blake does such an incredible job capturing these moments throughout. I have always been impressed by narrator’s who can differentiate between more than one character with ease, too!! The emotional connection between these characters has been embedded into my brain for years to come!

This series is everything

I absolutely loved this book. Blake is perfect, the story is amazing, and I can’t wait for the next book to come to audio!

Good but not best in series

I have loved this series and I do like the book and a chance to see other characters from past books. But it not as good. I have read other slow burn romances with a storyline of long wait for love. But, the reasons were better than this one. Yea, it was explained and consistent with the character but still felt contrived to create a barrier. Though, the menagerie is adorable.
