If you are new to this game, you need a solid foundation to build on. Having a running program is not the only thing that you need. Sound advice and running tips should be taken from someone who has "walked the walk", or in this case, "ran the run".

Resumen del Editor
Summary of Born to Run by Christopher McDougall | Includes Analysis
Preview:
Born to Run is a book about the natural virtues of running, based on Christopher McDougall's own experiences, research, and training. It is centered on the Tarahumara, an indigenous Mexican tribe known for their feats of long-distance running.
McDougall, a journalist, is a low-key hobbyist runner himself, but he experiences numerous injuries that threaten to force him to stop. Given the high injury rate among runners, McDougall is fascinated by stories of the Mexican Tarahumara. These native people live in the rugged, hot Copper Canyo, and are known for running more than 100-mile races over broken ground at amazing speeds. More amazingly still, the Tarahumara wear flat sandals rather than running shoes....
Please note: There are key takeaways and an analysis of the book, and not the original book.

Finally, the solution to the number-one reason we don't exercise: time. Everyone has one minute. A decade ago, Martin Gibala was a young researcher in the field of exercise physiology - with little time to exercise. That critical point in his career launched a passion for high-intensity interval training (HIIT), allowing him to stay in shape with just a few minutes of hard effort. It also prompted Gibala to conduct experiments that helped launch the exploding science of ultralow-volume exercise

Historia
In May 2017, journalist Matt Hart received a USB drive containing a single file—a 4.7-megabyte PDF named “Tic Toc, Tic Toc. . . .” He quickly realized he was in possession of a stolen report prepared a year earlier by the United States Anti-Doping Agency, part of an investigation into legendary running coach Alberto Salazar, an endocrinologist named Dr. Jeffrey Brown, and cheating by Nike-sponsored runners. Combining sports drama and business exposé, Win at All Costs tells the full story of Nike’s running program, uncovering a corporate win-at-all-costs culture.

Forget what you might have been told; triathlon running is not like typical running. The triathlon run comes after a swim and a bike. The training, pacing, and technique requirements are very different from regular running. But this isn’t what triathletes have been told. Fortunately, with the right kind of run training, the triathlon run doesn’t have to be a long, painful slog with a stumble to the finish. Triathlon Running Foundations provides the specific information athletes need in order to feel strong for every step of the run, all the way to the finish.

Why are so many people drawn to running? Why is running the most common physical activity? What is it about running that empowers so many people? And how can runners harness that power to create a more meaningful life? The Inner Runner addresses these questions and a whole lot more. This book is not about how to get faster or run a marathon; rather, it explores how the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other helps you harness your creative powers.

Written by the late, beloved Dr. George Sheehan, Running and Being tells of the author's midlife return to the world of exercise, play, and competition, in which he found "a world beyond sweat" that proved to be a source of great revelation and personal growth. But Running and Being focuses more on life than it does, specifically, on running. It provides an outline for a lifetime program of fitness and joy, showing how the body helps determine our mental and spiritual energies.

Over 40 and training in BJJ? Zen now offers new concepts that will change the way you think and train instantly. This is the audiobook I wish I had when I began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My age, I didn't think was a factor at the time and now after many years on the mats, I've found that certain strategies and concepts when applied save me from constantly being injured or de-motivated by plateaus.

Great summary —persuaded me to not read the book.
This summary was worth its price of a few dollars, but not worth a credit that I could use for a different book.
It gave me a good overview from which I determined that I didn't want to read the full version -not because it was bad, but because it would not contain the information (on foot physiology) that interested me.
All in all, I found the concept of a book summary a good way to check if I want to read a complete publication.

Time waste.
Time waste. could not get what author wants to convey and what runners can learn from it. it could be a story/fact book and not a learning book for runner.
