Review: Sidetracked by S.T. Abby

Well… I’m officially in it now. I’ve finished book #02 of the Mindf*ck series, and I’m fully invested. This series is everything people said it would be, and Sidetracked definitely pulled me in deeper.

These books are quick reads, but this one hit a little harder due to some potential trigger content—so readers should be aware going in. That said, it only made the story more intense and gripping for me.

I absolutely love the dynamic between the characters, especially the female lead. She is strong, confident, and does not take any crap from her FBI boyfriend—and I love that about her. Strong female leads always win in my book.

As usual, I went into this completely blind (no synopsis for me), only knowing that this series is everywhere—and now I understand why. I’m really looking forward to the next three books and seeing where this wild ride goes next.
