Poor Narration
The storyline is decent - enough to make me want to buy book 2. However, the narration is Teri le, especially after just having listened to The Butcher & the Blackbird. These performers could take notes from that audiobook.

another way to enjoy these books
Finding a romance to listen to isn't always easy for me because a lot of times, the voices bug me. That's definitely not the case here! I loved listening to the first book. Even better, my husband is enjoying it with me. This was already one of my favorites series, but I'm loving that I can enjoy it in a whole new way.

Really good. But short
Recommended to me by a friend. Definitely not my usual cup of tea but I quickly grew to love it. That being said, I shouldn’t be able to finish an audiobook in just a few hours.

I have heard about this for awhile and even had it on my tbr list for over a year, I hate myself for not reading it sooner. It had me hooked in chapter one. I love Lana i don't know exactly everything she went through but i know enough to know she is a very strong women to over come what she went through. Yes she maybe be a monster but they made her into that. She went through alot to make sure she got her revenge. Loved that she met someone that made her feel again. Scared he will find out who she is and arrest her. It may not be right what she is doing but i totally understand why she is doing it. Love Lana and Logan cant wait to see were their relationship goes. I am glad she has Jake in her corner and helps her to get their revenge.

So good! Really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to finish the rest of the series. Did wish there was more chemistry, but at the same time it was still a good book. Great narrators too.
