Atlas Kaiser hates a lot of things, but right now he hates Henri Vasel the most. He doesn't want to have to stare at his perfect face or listen to his adorable German accent. He wants to be left alone. Unfortunately, they're partnered together for the semester so he'll have to grit his teeth and try to make it work.

Animosity morphs into a tentative friendship, which eventually leads to more. But while Atlas doesn't trust their budding relationship, Henri wants more.

Beautiful

Atlas was a beautifully flawed character who despite being rude and gruff in the beginning had my heart by the end. He needed Henri's patience and love. The narrators did an outstanding job. Once again Iggy Toma nailed it and Heathcliff Lee was right there too. Loving this series so much. Beautifully done.

Narration really brought this story to life!

I thought I loved this book after reading it on my Kindle, but holy cow, hearing it brought to life by these two narrators elevated it to a whole new level of greatness. This was my first audiobook narrated by Heathcliff Lee and I hope it won’t be my last. His voice is so enjoyable and melodic. His portrayal of the prickly Atlas had me snort laughing. He was perfect. I wish I could give it more stars.

Henri and Atlas❤

Love this series and the fact that each couple is a part of every book. This was a good story. I love Iggy Toma, Heathcliff Lee is new to me. Duet narration would have really fit this book or Iggy Toma alone. I did enjoy the story. the prickly guy who really needs someone to love him and the Hockey player German who needed someone to take care of. A really sweet HEA.

Good Story

I have loved all of the SCU books. I did like this one but I had a little bit of harder time getting into it and I think it had a little bit to do with the narration. Like others mentioned in their reviews, it probably would've been better to have Iggy Toma do it himself or be recorded duet style.

Don't get me wrong. Heathcliff Lee did a good job narrating Atlas. Just his German accent was not that great.

Overall, though, Henry and Atlas's story was very good.

This was a great series, looking forward to new book.

Each one of these books character and story building has been entertaining. With each couple over coming a situation with the support of a partner and friends.

Loved every minute

I was already in love with Henri and Atlas before listening, but getting to visit the story via audio was such a treat. Iggy Toma can do no wrong for me, and Heathcliff Lee?? This was my first time hearing him narrated a book and he’s been added to my favorite narrators list. Can’t recommend enough!

Worth The Wait!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Been waiting for a while. Love the Romance. This one is real. It has the challenges and the hurdles that we all have to climb. But it doesn’t take unnecessary sucker punches and terrible drama. It’s sweet and fun and Gay. I loved it.

This story was wonderful. JJ Mulder does not disappoint

I have loved each book in this series so far. The story was wonderful. I would t normally speak up but my challenge was with the actor who voiced Atlas. It was difficult listening to the robotic-like flow when he spoke.

Great addition to the series

Once again I listen non-stop. Love the relationships that are built and how they recognize chemistry between people that are perfect for one another.

A Good Story Let Down By Bad Accents

First off let me say I've listened to many books narrated by Iggy Toma, and I think hes brilliant. But this voice acting was so abhorrent. The worst German accent I have ever heard was so bad that it literally distracts you from the story it is so unnecessary. And as for the producers of this book, you really couldn't find a single German voice actor to do this role? Really? Instead you were happy with something that sounded like a caricature of a German accent and again...so bad. Then we have Heathcliff and this is the first time I am hearing him. Absolutely nails the character of Atlas and truly makes him come to life. But somehow when attempting a German accent to narriate what Vas says in the story...comes off as a Japanese accent more than German. So for the love of all that's holy would we please drop the accents or hire actors that are actually native to the regions you're trying to portrait?

Because genuinely it's a cute story. Let down completely by this production.
