The timeline is no longer sacred…
It’s been a full three years since Sam journeyed into the past, yet his task remains nowhere near complete.
A powerful criminal network of rogue Travelers has overtaken the southern seas of Westria, threatening to upend everything Sam has been working towards.
Can Sam gain the strength needed to bend history’s path once more?
Second Chance Swordsman 4 continues the best-selling LitRPG/Progression Fantasy series by Jakob Tanner, author of Tower Climber and Arcane Kingdom Online. The story contains RPG mechanics, stats, and ranks as a form of power progression.

Sam was sent back in time to prevent the Demon King from wiping out all life in the planet with an excellent pool of knowledge of exactly how things got so bad. He has worked hard to change things to give the planet a chance. However, everything that he has changed separated his new timeline from the old disastrous one. Now a criminal organization of rogue Travelers have taken over the southern seas. This didn’t happen last time.
This is a great example of a time travel litrpg! The action is too notch and the characters are very likable. I really enjoy that his knowledge of the future is getting less useful and reliable as the series goes. I think that’s a good counter to such a huge advantage and makes sense in the story.

I liked the skill development and growth of each character it's not just 1 overpowered character plowing through a plot armor world.

however I do definitely not like how they show that power ....random monster gets spawned in in the literal most secure place ever just to prove what his powers are also I did not like the battle with a big bad of the series supposably he was so overly confident in his abilities to win the fight everyone was frozen except the main character and he thought he was going to win easily main character does eventually beat him but it turns out it was all in his head it's just a bad writing cliche to continue the plot The villain always has to escape somehow... and for the most part I see no reason why The villain would have been fighting the main character in his mind when everybody else was just frozen...the villain thought he had the massive advantage to freeze everyone and knew everything about the main character that he could easily beat him....could have been written better in my opinion..
I also don't like how when the main character fights Barnaby the captain who is a chain user The main character knows all his abilities before the fight begins because of his future knowledge in within just the first 2 minutes of the battle his enemy not only figures out that he has an ability to attack shadows mind you there's literally no hint whatsoever that the main character has that ability but somehow the bad guy literally just automatically figures it out with out of second thought which is crazy literally a minute later he also finds out the main character has time stop it just doesn't make any sense that he would come to those conclusions instead of the idea that maybe it's a mental attack or maybe it's a reality warping attack or something like that it just doesn't make any sense at all this is bad writing to make the bad guy more fearsome than he should be or the idea that he somehow had foresight knowing that he was going to be attacked to begin with and planned accordingly it's just awful I'm lowering my review from three to two stars what's the point of giving the main character an incredibly powerful ability if the bad guys can figure it out in 2 seconds...
I will update accordingly

Impossible fight after that. Why did you create that ridiculous situation? Choosing to keep the fight going wasn’t dramatic or suspenseful, it was stupid and unnecessary.
There’s also only like 5 travelers who do everything. And every major bad guy has the most broken powers while everyone else is stuck with stuff like warrior or mage. They don’t have to do anything for their abilities to be insane.
Some of the other fights were nonsense. The narrator and characters would pretend they were doing impressive things when it made no sense. Like a super skilled, more experienced fighter no noticing fighter jumping straight up right in front of them. And that airborne person being a melee warrior who put themselves in the worst position but is then praised for being trained well…. The fights sounded choreographed to sound impressive(which men), but they sometimes seemed so bad as fights it just took you out of the story.
Why not win the fight?
