Dangerous Auction

The Billionaire’s Auction by Bri Blackwood. This is my first book by this author. I’m intrigued by Ace and Harlow story. This is the first in a new trilogy and is Ace and Harlow’s journey. Harlow is desperate as she needs money to pay off some debts, and this leads her to be entered into an auction. Ace had seen Harlow before where she was bartending, and he is determined to place the winning bid. These two come to an agreement that Harlow will stay with Ace for 90-days. This story ends in a cliffhanger, and I need the rest of the thrilling trilogy. I highly recommend this book. Im excited for book 2.

Good and bad

The Good: Jameson Adams, story moves fast, and good story line

The not so good: Juniper Young. And she read all the spicy scenes. 👎🏼 3 books to make one story. Not necessary.

ridiculous and unnatural

Female narrator can't read male lines without sounding like the guy has a severe head cold and is drunk on cough medicine. The story is weak and completely unnatural. Character reactions make zero sense and there is no logical reason for anything growing between them. So tired of writers trying to make young women seem strong by having them mouth off to dangerous men. They just sound stupid and petulant. Good thing this was short and free....will avoid this author going forward. Male narrator was good though.
