Such an awesome book!

Understanding your dogs thinking patterns in imperative to keeping a happy and healthy pup in the house. This book did a fantastic job outlining the essentials and gives some really awesome tips and tricks that stay with you and sets the stage for a successful puppy home. There's also some great fundamentals of basic tricks and training which I found interesting and valuable.

I loved this one and feel everyone who has a dog or is considering getting a dog for a pet listen through - you won't regret it!

Excellent advice

Everyone getting a puppy is so excited beforehand - within a few weeks of collecting them, you are on Facebook seeking answers for why your bundle of fun is just so much hard work! The first year is the hardest, for sure, and I thoroughly recommend listening to this book both in anticipation of getting your pup OR if you are already an owner and finding it overwhelming. Even for seasoned owners, it is easy to forget how much consistency and patience are required, plus every pup is different. This book gives clear, actionable strategies for before and during those first few months (which can be overwhelming). Happy and trained puppy = happy you; Syd knows what he is talking about! Great book.

This book is amazing!

This book will give you a deeper understanding of your puppy's thinking. It will not only help you successfully teach them, but you will also discover how to do so. The author offers a wealth of useful advice on how to avoid typical puppy behavioral issues. I thought this was a really interesting and helpful book, and I would highly suggest it to anybody who is considering having a puppy.
