A lot of time parents don't realize that they themselves have to be better for their kids to be better. Being a parent is hard, not only do you have to take care of another person's life but also you might never grow up with a role model parent, thus, you are not quite sure how to be there for your kids. Being Better Parents

I had to learn the hard way with my oldest child who is now 22, during her teenage years I was a lot less approachable than I am now. She taught me so much and we regularly reflect on those days. It is great because now we laugh at our ups and downs, and roller coaster rides from her adolescent years. I say that to say I wish I had this book back then. However, it's never too late and I have younger children to prepare for. I'm glad I have this book to help me get through the next phase of roller coaster rides that are coming up!!! It is packed full of great helpful information that any parent can use, as we try our best to be better parents for our teens. These days it is so important to have a close relationship with our kids as they journey through and try to figure themselves out in this world!!! My best wishes to all the parents listening to this book. I highly recommend it.

With information including conversation starters, day-to-day interactions, teen spending, and romantic relationships, this is a one-stop-shop for parents looking to help guide their teens into responsible adulthood. I will definitely use this book's tips and tricks to communicate better with my stepkids and continue to build our relationship.

A very practical in doable guide to parenting teens.

One of my biggest goals in life, is to parent well in order to give my children the greatest opportunity to do life well. Navigating parenting in the teenage years can be a very challenging task. This practical guide gives great insight into potential challenges and warning signs to ensure that you were able to correctly navigate these challenges. Wow! This was amazing, I have so many notes and feel like i gained so much insight and knowledge. Raising a teen is so difficult especially these days. This is such an informative, helpful and useful tool. I love that it included social media which is a big subject these days. I definitely feel like I now have a solid blue print that I will continue working on! My worries are dissolving and I look forward to implementing what I learned. Highly recommend.
