Excellent Idea for Family Time

I don’t have a family with speech need, but still this book contains great recipes for family fun time. The therapy portion, another brilliant idea is an added bonus.

Great ideas!

My son used to have a speech delay. He is a graduate now from the program. But I also have a younger son that is in the stage of learning how to talk. This is a different technique. I have never thought about speech therapy with cooking before. Even though he is not diagnosed yet because he is still young. I want to be able to teach my son ahead using this method as well so he doesn't have to be stuck with speech delay. This is a great idea for kids. I think I can use this method to teach them how to read early also.

Simple and fun

This book is full of simple yet practical ideas to help your young ones develop in their speech as well as working well with others. The information in the book will help them develop interpersonal relationships, how to collaborate, and all the while having fun making delicious food.

As an educator, play-based learning has always been at the top of my list when it comes to positive approaches to a child's development. This book offers a new dimension, an opportunity to connect with our children whilst optimising their learning potential. The speech therapy component is interesting and allows to put emphasis on proper sounds depending on their development and age. Clearly narrated, wonderful job with all the exercises, great for personal use and for the speech pathologist, could be assigned as home work for the patients and at the same time, could be used as a conversation starter about how was your dinner! Interesting recipes step by step!

Helpful Resource

This is a great resource for a parent of a child with speech development concerns or delays. The exercises involve food which makes it fun and the implementation of the recipe and cooking utilizes key SLP skills. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to others.

This is such a fun and interesting way to help kids with speech therapy. It has been really well thought out and put together and includes some great activities for kids. The recipes are really easy to follow - you can literally just press play and follow along. My kids loved it
