A True Masterpiece

Gosh darn it Rosa Lee! That was beautifully written. Many tears were shed for our sweet boy and thank you for adding in the true story. This was absolutely exceptional! Thank you for this!!! Performances were brilliant!

Gave me all the goosebumps

This was a spectacular finale. Gave me goosebumps in the best way and had tears falling from eyes. 10/10!

Great series

This book had me crying at the end. It takes a lot to make me cry. The main characters all got their happy ending but without saying too much, one of their people die to save Iris and her son

Lasting love

Absolutely loved this series, Hunter and the twins were my favorite. I enjoyed how even though there were bad things happening, they found love and joy in life.

It's OK

This book was such a letdown for me. In fact, book 2 was as well, but I was trying to be nice in my review but seeing as how book 3 was even more of what was wrong with book 2...sigh...I just can't not say anything. So here it is. I like spice mixed in with my stories but this book, and book 2, were mostly sex scenes with a bit of storyline thrown in. That, I don't like. It gets old and the author is forced to up the game to keep it interesting. This author chose to up the game by turning all the males either gay or bi, whether they ever considered it, ever, in their entire lives, or not. Just one guy shows an interest and *bam!* suddenly the guy is bi. It was really ridiculous. I ended up skipping through entire chapters, sometimes 2 chapters at a time because of the ridiculous amount of sex going on. The series would have been a whole lot shorter, and better, had the author not included so many sex scenes. Or better yet, focused more on the action and let the sex scenes be filler instead of the story. And they weren't even good sex scenes, either.
I was VERY disappointed in how the author handled the rape victim's recovery. It wasn't anywhere close to reality and may make some victim's think there is something wrong with them if they cannot do the same or anywhere close to it. If you are a victim, just remember that this book has nothing to do with reality, nothing to do with facts. You do you, boo. Don't worry about some poorly researched story. I wish you well.
The action part of the story was great. I wish there had been more of it but sadly that was pretty thin. The voice actors did a very good job, although the male actors messed up a little here and there, forgetting which character they were voicing for a moment but they quickly rectified it. Everyone did a great job, especially portraying emotions.
I found the male characters to be too emotional towards the end. These are supposed to be hardened criminals, mafia men, gangsters, and they are "sweetheart" this and "love" that and either doing or saying the most loving things or they are crying. My own guys aren't that in tune with their emotional sides, I just don't see mafia and gangsters being that way. It was as if the author could not decide who she wanted to write about. The characters were all over the place. This author has a lot of talent, she writes very well. This series is not her best.
