Smart, funny and practical.

A great listen. Don't let the title mislead you, this isn't the stereotypical self-help book. It's a practical, entertaining collection of science and advice. I always enjoy audiobooks where the author is also the narrator. Aubrey Marcus is the founder and CEO of Onnit (if you follow Joe Rogan, you're probably familiar with the company). He digs deep on topics such as business, fitness and relationships, and does so as if he's talking to one of his "bros" (or broettes). He doesn't bullshit the reader/listener or censor himself. One of my favorite listens so far.

I’m a big fan of Aubrey and Onnit already, and the way this book was laid out made it very easy to follow and understand a few ways to start being a more complete person physically and mentally

Great Overview

This is a great book for those that are new and need a quick overview. Also was great how it was formatted to structure a day around a broad array of topics such as waking up, exercise, diet, working out, and sleeping. What loss me was the references to some studies, would be better to explain at a high level what the benefits we're and then link. When the book started going into the mechanisms and science behind it, it seemed more condescending than geniune, as the information required deep knowledge which is outside the realm and anyone with that knowledge would most likely be familiar or would fact check.
