Great Book
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The story was so good from beginning to end and presented so well by Nora Robert’s. This is one of my favorite audio books, from being a delightful Irish story, to not wanting to put it down.

So this was Nora’s first novel — and it shows
Pretty simplistic and too short for the development of a real relationship. One thing that annoyed me —— when the book began Adelia’s hair was red, in the middle it was chestnut, and toward the end it was auburn!

Narrator Style/Voice Not my favorite
This is one of my favorite Nora Roberts stories and I have read the book countless times. I wasn't a fan of the Narrator's voice, but it did grow on me a little bit. I would have loved to hear this read by the narrator of the Born In series.

Not the best Nora Robert's book. Skip it.
Performance sounds almost like a robot. However, the accent was done well. I finished the book out of pure desire to finish what I had started. I strongly disliked the story line and the way the female lead was developed. I normally love Nora Robert's, but I truly did not like this book.

Romance vs Sexual Harrassment
This whole thing started out as a vivid sexual harassment case. Immigrant who may or may not have a work visa agrees to a two week trial then her employer without permission grabs her and kisses her. Worse yet she is almost raped and then doesn’t report the guy to police thus allowing him to do it again for fear it may upset her uncle a grown man who has been around the stables his whole life. Stupid plot and not one I’d want anyone to decide is romantic. It was just childish.

Loved the book....but
I loved the book, but I had a hard time getting into it with the narrator. She really doesn’t have that great of a reading voice and I felt, didn’t do that well with the accents and impressions.

Terrible voices
I’ve loved this story for a very long time. Unfortunately I did not “listen” to the sample audio. The person who read this book for audible used terrible voice choices.
It’s very annoying.
Still one of my all time favorite books by Nora.
