Great story, bad narrator
Stovall makes a great story yet again but this narrator is not the right pick for the story. The main character is supposed to be about 17 years old but the narrator makes him sound middle-aged, has weird pacing, and a weird cadence that’s hard to get over.

Need the next book already!
I'm not surprised that the master author we all love created this story, with the elements of the old series being brought into this new series it has the potential to even greater than it already is.
My only issue with this book was that Gray is a bit of a jerk towards his brother, I can see it causing a falling out at some point but I genuinely hope Gray accepts his brother for who he is before that happens.
Looking forward to the third book in the series!

Mc is slow
The Mc is slow in the head if you know what I mean, for supposedly being the smarter brother.
It's really irritating when the main character gets unreasonably dumb. and the professors are so unreasonable in this book that it's just silly. Then, they proseed to say you can really on me and then do absolutely nothing, except indanger the Mc further.
