I really didn’t know how stockholm syndrome and second chance could work together, but apparently it CAN when your captor is Nate White 😂

I’m shocked — apparently Lola King IS capable of writing a book without a completely unnecessary Rose White appearance. I truly didn’t think it was possible 😂
(Yes, there is a cameo but it made sense and had a purpose to the story. Honestly, I expected there to be a lot more especially since it’s her brother’s book.)

Corvin King!

My favorite in the series by far! I didn’t think it could get better than Caden, but Nate is just that! He is so dang unhinged and she’s such a badass. I loved all the different tropes in the book. Single mom, mafia/gang wars, kidnapping, touch her and die, found family… the list goes on. Ended this series on such a high note. And corvin. He could read me the Declaration of Independence and I’d sit there and eat up every word. Top tier dark dark dark romance.

My first dark romance read… it was different but I throughly enjoyed it! I didn’t know it was a part of a series when I found it, but I would have read the entire series!

Delightfully Dark

Who knew Stockholm’s could be a kink… I’m so sad to see these characters stories end! Lola brought us in with Caden and left us with Caden 2.0 in Nathan!

This story was exhilarating, dark, completely fucked and so much fun! Kayla I feel you girl I wouldn’t have done anything differently than she did. She was strong and fearless, but completely folded for daddy Nate…ya can’t be mad at it though. But in all seriousness she has to be a saint to fall for a diagnosed psychopath and then be able to understand him enough to help him move through emotions. That has got to be mentally draining. These two are just as toxic as the rest of the family/friends. It works though! I enjoyed their growth and plot so much! This story was my second fave of the series!

This entire series is STELLAR! I loved this book though - definitely my favorite! Loved how absolutely nuts Nate is and how Kayla although hard and tough still just wants to be taken care of.
