Don’t believe the negative comments

I don’t understand why the negative comments. It’s just as good as previous 3. Can’t wait for #5.

Tieran snaking Rezkin?!?!

I don’t like it one bit! Flighty Frisha is starting to get on my nerves! He’s done EVERYTHING FOR HER. Now I don’t WANT her to get Rezkin. SHE doesn’t deserve HIM!!

Fine for a time waster; Not the series it once was

Story was meh. It just seemed like a wild goose chase more than anything else.

Frisha/Malcious were whiney as hell throughout the book. Honestly if they were just killed off in the third book, this book would have been the better for it. I honestly have no clue why anyone would want to read about those characters.
Skip all the parts with Frisha and Malcious, then the story probably moves up to a 4/5.

Performance was spot on. I'd even go so far as to say Nick did so well on the narration that I hate Frisha and Malcious even more because of it. Congrats, that is true workmanship.

Too good

i love all the books so far but to me this last book got me in trouble at work. the umps and downs the new information especially at the end man CANT WAIT TILL BOOK 5.... now I hope we get to see DARK TIDINGS I'm book 5.... crazy part it dude is only 18 smh

I can't get enough!!

I love these books!

I found them by accident and I couldn't be happier! Once I found Free The Darkness, I couldn't turn it off. Then it was on to the next. I am however happy that I just found them as I can't wait for book 5 and I see the long wait in-between each one. I have also read Kel's latest book but it is not as good as the Kings Dark Tidings series in my opinion, it is good it's just not Rezkin.

I love this series

Lots of new developments in the story with a couple cliffhangers. I cannot wait for book 5!

Nick Podehl is great

I get books just because Nick is the performing. I laughed in this book as Rez now has a bit of a French accent. Too funny

Frisha is so annoying though

I really wanted to like Frisha in the beginning but now she’s just so annoying. She is super possessive of Rezkin even after she denounced him for his other personas. WTF woman just stop. One thing I like about the series is the relatively realism I find in the characters. While I dislike some of their actions, I can understand why they might react that way. Frisha is just an example of a certain type of woman. I don’t think she’s a gross stereotype or caricature of an annoying woman but a fairly accurate representation of over emotional woman of which I’ve met a few in my life. I don’t want her to end up with Rezkin because she will never truly appreciate him with her naive sheltered personality. I want to say she’s selfish but she really just wants a normal life with a perfect man lol. I’m glad she realized that that would be impossible with a perfect man and has settled for a more normal love. At least she better understands herself by the end of the novel but my dislike of her is solidified. Unfortunately all the good female characters are getting paired up already. I hope the next book introduces someone who can actually be with Rezkin. It would be sad, but not unthinkable, for the series to end with Rezkin having no romantic partner.

One of the most breathetakingly amazing stories coupled with incredible narration. couldn't suggest it more.
