so it begins

I really enjoy this series, excellent character progression, and thrilling action pieces. this one is a bit slower initially but it ties lots of things together for the transition towards end game and really gets going setting the stage for the war for Ashai and Rezkin's empire

More time talking than action

I’ve followed this series from the beginning, but Book #7 was a real letdown. The story is bogged down by endless dialogue that doesn’t move the plot forward—it feels like the characters spend more time talking than doing anything. There’s surprisingly little action or tension.
