The author was able to overcome several serious health issues, including easing menopause symptoms, by implementing on-and-off fasting, also called intermittent fasting. The author employs other unusual methods, such as "earth walking", where you remove your shoes and walk around feeling the earth on your bare feet. She describes this in detail, proving it's effectiveness to help you relax but also connect with the earth, being grounded. By changing your diet and adding supplements to the regime to make sure your body has what it needs to be healthy, your intermittent fasting is more likely to be successful.
