Everything you want or need to know about intermittent fasting is in this audiobook!
Almost every woman wants to look and feel better about themselves, and in this audiobook, you will discover all the ins and outs, and ups and downs of intermittent fasting. Whether this is your first time hearing about this fantastic regime known as intermittent fasting or you’ve heard so much about it that you’re ready to jump on the train, Intermittent Fasting for Women: Lose Weight, Burn Fat, Heal Your Body: Fasting to Lose Weight is the audiobook for you. Whether you’re looking to shed one pound or 100, my audiobook provides the building blocks that you need to be successful with intermittent fasting and provides everything you need to know. In this audiobook you will find:
- What types of intermittent fasting are best for women
- The science behind intermittent fasting
- Common mistakes to avoid while intermittent fasting
- Tips and frequently asked questions about intermittent fasting
- A history of fasting
- And much, much more
So what is intermittent fasting? It can best be defined simply as alternating periods of eating and not eating. When we eat our levels of insulin automatically get elevated and signal the body to store all excess calories in our fat cells and to burn the glucose from that meal instead. This halts the burning of fat. But then in a fasted phase our insulin levels drop, and our hormones that oppose insulin become elevated and force the body to burn those fat stores. In other words, only when our body is in a fasted phase will it actually burn fat to produce the energy we need.
Whether you fast for eight or 24 hours, once your body enters the fasting phase, you are burning fat. And yes, you even burn fat while you sleep and skipping breakfast is an easy way to keep your body in that phase until later in the afternoon.

Our gut is almost as important to us as our brain, yet we know very little about how it works. Gut: The Inside Story is an entertaining, informative tour of the digestive system from the moment we raise a tasty morsel to our lips until the moment our body surrenders the remnants to the toilet bowl. No topic is too lowly for the author's wonder and admiration, from the careful choreography of breaking wind to the precise internal communication required for a cleansing vomit.
