Another great book by Sarah Hawke. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life.

The quality of writing is unparalleled in this arena. I am a student so I read/ look at a screens enough. I want to enjoy/ explore somewhere that is fantastic but has characters I can believe in. This is the first series I have listened to and I will continue to listen to her work. If she records her earlier work I would give it a listen too.

Great Series

I have really been enjoying this series. The sci-fi military aspect of this series as well as the story and characters, just make this a great series. Sarah Hawke has done a great job with this series.

Right up front I'm going to say that I recommend this series to anybody reading this review. When it comes to a sequel, I'm looking for everything that made the first book worth reading and then some. This book was definitely that. It had sort of a Star Wars road trip complete with flashback thing going on during the first half of the book. You got to see how the characters sort of ended up where they are when we are first introduced to them. Then we kind of move into this area of intrigue akin to a spy thriller in space. Then the book really ramps up at the end and finishes on a light cliffhanger. I really had some important stuff to do and yet I could not put the book down. I blew through it in not exactly one sitting but certainly in one day. Those are always easy books to recommend to anybody. I have enjoyed the lady author’s work in the past and she does have some pretty spicy scenes in the book as well. I absolutely hands down enjoyed the performance from the narration team. Book three is supposed to be released here on the 19th of December. My fingers are crossed that this audiobook and that eBook does very well. At this point I do not think I'm going to be able to wait for book 3 to get the audio treatment before I dive into the story. Lastly, I'm just going to say well done and thank you to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the Audible listeners. I can't wait to see what you all come up with next.
