Sweet Story

I enjoyed the story very much. It's about a second chance romance with some bumps in the road. It's sweet and steamy and has an HEA.

It's done with dual narration. The MMC is narrated wonderfully by Aaron Shedlock. And CJ Bloom narrated the FMC. Sadly, I've decided with this book, I will not purchase any other books with her as the female narrator. She is (imo) just too harsh to listen to, as she is very pitchy and her tone is constantly going up and down, loud then soft. Regretfully, she over-acts the entire time. (This is after many, MANY chances with listening to her as the FMC.) She is just not for me.

Overall, ❤️❤️❤️❤️ the book!

This was a sweet second chance story of redemption and devoted love. I especially loved how the characters couldn’t give up on each other over the years and found their way back to each other. I’ve read the first three holiday romances featuring the Cartwright family by Maggie Cole and I can’t wait for Holiday Heir (Jagger’s book) which is coming out in November 2026!
The male narrator did a fabulous job!

Least favorite in series so far

The loved the 1st book! Narrators have done a great job. This story (book 3) itself wasn’t great. Whiny MFC. I’m struggling to finish it. Decent spice though!
