great story looking forward to another series

This book is classic Chris Fox. Great premise and story. A new take on ancient intelligence and a bit of not quite magic mixed in.

Would make a great movie

I loved this. Fox is a capable writer and always does a great job, but this story turned everything up a notch. We have a youtube archaeologist (who is clearly inspiired by Jimmy Corsetti) who is convinced he knows where Atlantis is hiding in plain site. We have shady organizations trying to suppress the truth about lost ancient civilizations. And we have some scifi elements that make this a Chris Fox novel. It's fun. It would make a great movie.

Fantastic adventure!

I really enjoyed this tale. Very entertaining. I'd forgotten how much I like Chris' writing. He doesn't disappoint! And the narrator is one of the best! I look forward to more books in the series.

Gripping-comedic-self-deprecating-brave adventure

When a nerdy vlogger with detailed research tendencies decides to trek around the world in search of ancient ruins, of course nothing goes as planned. From his first encounter with street thugs to his battle with mystic guardians, we get to experience "always heroic" Mitch put forth his best brain cells and quick wit to get out of a constant stream of obstacles. Written with snappy dialogue and full of humor, this modern-day adventure takes us on a journey to distant places with intriguing characters and unpredictable outcomes. As always, Ryan Kennard Burke absolutely smashes the narration bringing us to the center of the action and connecting us with each conversation. I'm sad to say this was my first Chris Fox story, but I'm now enticed to devour all of his works as this one was so so tasty. Very much looking forward to books 2 and 3 in this series. Chris Fox is Back!!

Well, this was a fantastic journey! I am so happy.Chris fox is back in the game, this book is amazing and has so many ties to ancient cultures.
And perfectly blends the possibilities of our ancient past with witty humor and style. look forward to this series immensely

Fun Conspiracy Theories

Are the great pyramids grain silos, ancient aliens artifacts, huge batteries? Was Atlantis real? Chris Fox put together a fun story about a vlogger that is trying to hint down and prove a conspiracy theory. It was an engaging story that felt well researched.

The narration is great and kept me engaged through the story.

Overall it is definitely worth a listen and I'm looking forward to checking out book 2.

interesting new series

I dropped in because I really like the narrator and the synopsis really intrigued me. I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist or alt history nerd but this really scratched a itch. the few things I knew personally felt like the story was well thought out. really looking forward to book two. hate how short this one was. needed another 4 hours minimum but I bet the author liked where he left the ark off so he split the book. well give it a shot, solid narration and fun theories

SGC Reference?

Honestly, I love this type of writing and writing style. The narration was and is ALWAYS on point. The references to real places and childhood TV shows is awesome and really grounds you to the story. Taking real world myths and interpreting them in this fashion is pretty cool. If you are a fan of his DEATHLESS series(and believe me I DEFINITELY AM) you will love this!
