Adjective Heavy Weak Story

The Quantum Gate By: Bill Combs is too descriptive way beyond necessary. Everyone's eye color is mention numerous times. Every item, person, place, etc is over described. Constantly. The story seemed to drag on. I have listened to several virtual voice narration and found several to be amazing, almost human like with inflections and natural sounding voice. Unfortunately this was not the case with The Quantum Gate. Mispronounced words/names and changing pronunciations. I really wanted to like this book and tried, but could not finish this book.

Mispronounced words

Golden sunset, golden light and golden robes, every chapter had the word golden several times. names were mispronounced one chapter, then pronounced right in the next, then mispronounced next time. Editor should have caught that stuff. Anyway, great story and I'd recommend it in spite of the narration.

By about chapter 15? I was wondering if I had missed the entire plot of the story and if somebody had not edited or checked on the recording of this book. Then I realized no story is ever told and the repetition of words is out of control. Don’t tell me about the hall again. Glad it didn’t buy it.

Great Story but...

I really enjoyed the story very good plot. My only complaint was using computer generated voice . I prefer a human voice.
