Which isn't as bad as it sounds, he promises.

Jason's taking a gap year, whatever he has to do to make it happen. Manipulate a prestigious noble house into liberating a slave town. Attempt to extort every government on the planet. Blow up and subsequently rebuild the occasional city. Gods help anyone who tries to stop him, but the gods probably won't because they've met Jason and they know how that usually goes.

Loved the laughs.

This book was too short, as are the other books. I enjoy how i can re-listen to this book series.

The recap written by stash and the first few chapters were perfect! the rest felt like a wrap up which makes me fear it's over ... hope to keep the story going it's great. His morals annoy the crap out of me but that what makes the book great, I don't agree with the choices but want to constantly know more.

Really good like always!

This series continues to amaze me! I’ve listened to every book, besides this one, many times as I wait for the next to come out. With that, I continue to dislike the political jabs the author makes as it rocks me out of the “escape from reality.” Everyone has an opinion, please stop making yours so obvious. It’s like being in a smooth ride and hitting a pothole. Besides that, the story is always thrilling.

Jason Asano is an epic character

I really enjoyed reading more about the dark wizard man—Jason Asano. His quips & joyful antics contrasted against his dark power & the very real & in-depth dip into the weight of responsibility makes for a really cool character. That & the massive cast of characters & the detailed world/magic system made this an awesome read. Only took half a star away since the story doesn’t progress a ton in this one—it seems to be setup for future fun.

I love these characters and I feel like a needed this much reunion subject matter as well as the self awareness Jason portrays. Love the development! I wanted more Emi tho! I love that girl!
