Each one gets better

Although these are supposed to be stand alone books, the characters from previous books are all intertwined in each book one way or another. I feel like they should be read in order just so that you can appreciate the storylines. They all seem to be the good girl vs. the bad boy, with steamy/spicy scenes.
Cecily is of course the good girl and Jeremy (Anika's brother from the previous book) is the Mafia Prince. This enemies to lovers story also touches on mental health issues and previous relationship trauma. The two MC could not be more different than the other but at the same time they fit. Cecily also has a particular kink that Jeremy figures out and wants to be the only one satisfy it, she wants to be chased he wants to be the one to make her run. Jeremy is also possessive of what is his, and has that "touch her you die" attitude and he doesn't care who it is. He may be my favorite character in the series so far.
There are several tropes in this one so anyone reading this story should be mindful of the trigger warnings/content.

Love this book!!!

To say this book hits all the right buttons for me would be an understatement! You have one hot alpha-hole mafia prince and a sassy but shy sweet young woman. On paper these two might seem worlds apart, however, what lies in one’s fantasies and heart is another. Jeremy (MMC) is not the guy Cecily (FMC) ever thought about. However, after a night of unexpected hunting neither can seem to fight the connection. Which is one seriously hot and passionate connection (fan myself moments). But will both have lasts that lead to trust and openness issues. I listened to the audiobook of this book, and it was wonderful. The different voices and emotions the narrators pull is perfect to bring this story alive. Like the first two books in this series, I will be re-listening to this audio many times.

Amazingly great

I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. Unfortunately it took me longer to listen to this one as it was over the holidays, but it was a great listen! The narrators did a phenomenal job, Teddy Hamilton and Zara Hampton-Brown. Part of a series, but can be read as a standalone, Rina Kent has done it again. This book has everything. Major TW, but you have to know this going into most of her books by now. We first meet Jeremy and Cecily as he’s chasing her through the woods. Next we get Jeremy stalking her. Engaging from start to finish.

Rina Kent doing what she does best!

I have to first say how much I loved Teddy Hamilton as Jeremy. Truthfully, I was skeptical of his ability to do a dark & unhinged MC because i’m so used to hearing him in small town romances, but he totally delivered. I loved the female narrator as well, Rina Kent always manages to match the voice to exactly what I picture in my head.

This is Rina Kent doing what she was born to do. Every MC somehow ends up a little more dark & depraved than the last, and yet i’m still here rooting for them. I absolutely loved Cecily, her parents were my favorites in Royal Elite, so she was everything I hoped for. Like many of Rina Kent’s characters, both Jeremy and Cecily have a lot to unpack and overcome, but when they start to lean on each other and open up, it’s just the best.

Loved this one!! Out of the Gods book this one is my favorite! It was so wonderful to hear all the other characters come together in this third installment! I just love how Rina has all her books be in the same universe!
