A phsychological thriller with humor
I'm not sure if I would want to be Perry Jean all the time, but to be able to see ghosts some of the time would be cool. However, you can't choose when you get to use your powers and neither done Perry Jean. What starts out as a much of a normal day as can be for Perry Jean as can be expected turns into a day of murder, heart ache, and an ass whoopin. Her cousin is murdered and asks her to solve her murder which happens to involve the old long time lost and cursed, Mase Treasure. Along this journey to finding her cousins murder, she collects information on the Mase treasure as well as seing more ghosts. Her past comes back to her as she remembers why she's been suppressing her abilities to see ghosts since she's been picked on. You will have to find out if Perry Jean can face her own demons within herself to find her cousins murderer or of the curse of the Mase treasure takes anyone else from her.
The narrator did an amazing job with all the characters in this book. Perry Jean was not at all what I pictured her to be but the accent was fantastic and her actions made the character come to life. Each character alone had their own feelings and personality and the narrator made the book come to life.

Great characters & story….
I fell in love with Peri Jean Mace and her adventures in this story.
Such an interesting and fun character! Holly Adams brings her to life with a realistic and engaging southern accent. I really like this story- and this storyteller and can’t wait to continue with the rest of the series! I am definitely hooked!
