All the characters were great. I can't wait to read okay listen to the next installment!!!

hard to follow

the characters are difficult to distinguish andbthereby keep straight. if the narrator used more enthusiasm to distinguish the characters, it may be wasier to follow

Not the strongest mystery but entertaining enough to keep my interest Want to know the backstory of Tom.

Very Good

It’s a wonderful story with a good narrator. It’s light and funny and very easy to listen to. I liked the characters.

This was a fun story, enhanced by a great performance.

nice little story

I love the sto5 and the setting. Pearl Hewitt is the perfect preformer for this story. well done. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Narrator much better than the writing

The heroine has potential for being an interesting and well-developed character, but lacks any evidence of self reflection, while being self-centered in the extreme. The writing is uneven at best, annoying at worst. The possible attraction between Evie and Tom is telegraphed too early, and in any event lacks believability. The actual mystery and suspense aspect moves forward in fits and starts, interrupted by the tedious interplay of the main characters. I couldn't finish it, and can't recommend.

How the story flowed.

I love cozy mysteries and this did not disappoint.
The story flowed easily and the characters are likable.

Week storyline week narrator. It will probably be my last by this author and narrator.

Boring. Nothing happens for days …

Not your fast-moving plot. Like reading a nun’s diary (I exaggerate but really takes forever for something to happen. )
