The AI couldn’t pronounce saxophonist or saxophone correctly. Just very disappointing. It was a jazz band for goodness sake.

Narrator, a computer generated voice ruins what might have been a good story

This might be a good story but the voice used, ruins a lot of it. No pauses where needed, jumps from one character to other without a change in cadence. If Audible comes to use or allow this type of narration, I will be only listening to my older audio books.

Unexpected twist

Delightful book. The story kept building to the end where you meet an unexpected killer.

listening with the virtual voice took the life out of the characters, no feeling, mispronounced words. overall dull and I could not pay attention. very disappointed

No virtual voice is lacking in the pronunciation and inflection department . Only a human can put in the proper feeling.

The story was well enough written that I tolerated the horrible narration. I would not pay a penny for any book narrated with virtual voice. It is truly dreadful.

The bad reader

The reader was so uninvolved, like reading a book with no emotion or inflection. I couldn't tolerate it any longer even though I sort of wanted to know how it ended
