Love this read!

The first book was ok but almost like a long backstory this book was pretty amazing. Love the character development the world building was just the right amount the uniqueness of the characters and story line was refreshing. 10/10

Better than book 1!

The story only gets better the love interest gets better, the duet narration is better! 5 stars can’t wait for book 3. Beware leaves off on another cliffhanger.

I definitely can say a huge improvement over Riftborne. I was having all the emotions with this book. The villains had me making faces and yelling at this book but it was still good. Loved the narration.

What an amazing book!!! Spoilers ahead!





















The found family, the slow burn, the politics! Everything was top tier! I usually don’t love when the MMC/love interest switches but this was done in the most perfect way! I love every character in this book! The world is so unique! Of course, that cliffhanger might be the death of and I am anxiously waiting for the next book!

There are still so many things to unravel, what is Aether’s backstory, what does the vision mean that she saw when fighting Narissa, what do you mean the other twin is still alive, did Ma really poison the King, why did Laryk agreed to help so quickly, I don’t trust that in the slightest!!!!! I need the next book immediately! :)

Holy crap

Wow wow wow these narrators are phenomenal. ESPECIALLY the male narrator. My goodness, he is something else. Please for the love of all things good and right, Phillip Nathaniel Freeman, PLEASE keep narrating romance and fantasy!!!!!!!!!!

New Roman Empire

Next level obsessed! I haven’t been this excited about a series in forever. And the audio performances are perfection!

Too many repeated lines but I was hanging on every word so maybe that’s why it bugged me so much.

Dislike “He was silent so long I didn’t think he would answer”. Said too often. There times in one book it too much unless it’s like “there she is”….lol.
Like!!! The FMC was so good. Grown as a character…The intimacy was too slow in coming. Also it was tiring that so many intimate moments weee interrupted.
The story was great. The auxiliary characters in the inner circle were wonderful and endearing . The narration was top notch!
I think we as a reader now suspect the relationship w Fia and Laryk was possible almost all motivated by his manipulation, but maybe Fia hasn’t realized it yet.

This book was incredible but what really should out was the narrating and performance!! 12/10!
