Love this read!

The first book was ok but almost like a long backstory this book was pretty amazing. Love the character development the world building was just the right amount the uniqueness of the characters and story line was refreshing. 10/10

Oh my gosh that ending!! I can’t wait for the next book to know what happens next! Ugh it’s going to be rough.

The second book was awesome, but I also loved the first book too despite the poor reviews I saw. I love the characters and how Fia is growing into who she will become. I l or how her confidence is building and those around her are finally supporting and loving her for just her, not for what she can do for them. I am skeptical of Laryk 100% so I am anxiously awaiting to see if he’s going to be a master manipulator in the end.

Another plus is Trygger. Always love a book with a side animal hero with a personality to boot!

I will be reading The Ascended next, and I guess anxiously awaiting the final book!

I also really enjoyed the dual narration. It really brings the story to life!

Redeemed!!

I was very confused with the direction of the story at the end of book 1 but by the end of THIS ONE?! I am fully engulfed. I am not falling over this love story, like I get it, but I also feel like it misses some connection points that would build that yearning feeling. They are still super hot but .. something is off. Anyway I’m here for a fun time and this was that for sure even though it felt slow to start.

Can’t wait for the final book

This book picked up right where book one ended and I loved every minute of it. I had theories in the beginning that were completely wrong and now I have more for book three but my track record for this series tells me I’m probably wrong. The FMC remains badass and her witty group of friends never fail to make me laugh.

Too many repeated lines but I was hanging on every word so maybe that’s why it bugged me so much.

Dislike “He was silent so long I didn’t think he would answer”. Said too often. There times in one book it too much unless it’s like “there she is”….lol.
Like!!! The FMC was so good. Grown as a character…The intimacy was too slow in coming. Also it was tiring that so many intimate moments weee interrupted.
The story was great. The auxiliary characters in the inner circle were wonderful and endearing . The narration was top notch!
I think we as a reader now suspect the relationship w Fia and Laryk was possible almost all motivated by his manipulation, but maybe Fia hasn’t realized it yet.
