Ridiculous and enormously fun

Wild, convoluted and imaginative twist on a cozy mystery. Ian Moore was an excellent narrator for his book - the right tone, dry humor and male confusion.

Laugh out loud funny

The narrator’s reading are so funny and the characters are well-conceived, warm and sympathetic. Like taking a vacay in the Loire Valley.

Delightful. Well wrought mystery interlaced with well defined characters and lots of laugh out loud humor. I will quickly sign up for all his books

Laborious humor

Juts OK. I liked the Thursday murder club much more. This is not as tightly written and I grew bored of the tedious nature abs the reluctant sort of self-pity of the main character.
