Such wit contained in this mystery
I love this author's use of language, very picturesque ("...a grizzly bear that plays Rugby") and the many laughs caused by his wit. I always look forward to hearing updates of the believable characters and enjoy their dialog and interactions. The performance by the author is spot on and I hope to hear more from him. This series is in my favorites for repeat listens.

Better and Better
This writer’s use of character development and humor create enjoyable anticipation throughout. The reader’s narration perfectly complements the plot and characters. I rarely listen to a book twice, but knew I wanted to listen again as it started to wrap up and enjoyed it even more the second time through. Looking forward to the next adventure with Richard and Valerie!

Excellent narration and fun characters
Well done humorous light mystery series set in rural France, with an out of sorts English main character.

Love this series!
Great, fun, easy listening. Characters are interesting and the mysteries always fun! Hoping he writes more and that they are available on audible!

The author’s drole sense of humor
I love the Follet Valley books but this wasn’t my favorite but it is still delightful. It’s best to read or listen to them in order but best of all try listening to them. Ian Moore is a professional comedian and his accents, timing and delivery are superb! Hope there’s another in this series!
