This is an outstanding piece of reference for understanding what protein really is. A repeat ironman and avid sports enthusiast this is an excellent reference guide to help me follow a more wholistic eating plan.
I have lent this book to a number of friends who have all enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed the depth of information provided. I also liked the background information on government subsidies and how we got to this point.

I purchased this title to learn more about protein and the need for it in everyday living. Shockingly this book want to blame you for all of the world problems if you aren’t a pure plant eater. This book is dedicated to blaming everything that is wrong with the world on anyone who has ever consumed or produced dirty protein or what most of us call meat. Although I do agree with some of the data revealed (and the only reason it got stars at all) about big business and the money trail, but not everyone or every producer should be shoe horned into the you have destroyed Mother Earth category. There are definitely some responsible produces and they get no credit here. It went as far as comparing eating a chicken wing to being as bad for you as smoking. If you are a meat hating grass lover this book is for you. If you enjoy animal flesh this book will probably tick you off. You have been warned…. It’s like watching CNN, they tell you only what they want you to believe.

I want my credit back
