There's a kamen rider reference. 10/10

The narrator sounds like a female announcer from an old superhero show like powerpuff girls.

She also voices many characters well, she brings them to life and then there's the kamen rider references.

Truly a audio experience worth your time.

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it enjoyable. It has a slow start, but well worth the time to get the core of the story. Brunhilde Krahe is brutally murdered, only to wake up in another time period. Many things are different in this world, but one thing remains the same, cruelty and corruption. So her mission is the same. Very enjoyable and looking forward to the next one.

F*cking awsome

The story and the MC is a breath of fresh air in a genre dominated by OP "alpha-male" types and their generic cookie-cutter harems that seem to bloat this site. Cherno Caster is about a cyberpunk legend who is transmigrated into an urban fantasy world, which is in the middle of their version of a "cowboy era", The main character is, unlike many other mass-produced generic litrpg mc's, multifaceted. She is an old soul moulded by her experiences in a hellish cyberpunk dystopia, and true to form, she acts like she has actually lived in such a world, using her experience as a mercenary, and her cool charm to find her way in this alien, yet all too familiar world. Basically she's the 'cool' and competent main character that all those harem authors think their self-insert MC is, minus the badly hidden misogyny. The narrator is pretty good too, though be aware, that if you have a shitty headset or a Logitech pro x (like me) the narrator can sound a bit nasally before you acclimate.

Well Written and Narrated story

The pacing can be a bit jarring at times, but this is well written and the narration was perfect for the characters in such a world that the story portrays. Considering the traumatic nature of the inhabitants of this world and perhaps even more traumatic life of the MC, the tone the characters set is actually less bleak due to how the MC sees it from her perspective. I’m looking forward to the next audiobook in this series.

Interesting story and magic system

The story and magic system are very interesting and the similarities between the MC's previous and current world definitely gave her an advantage in terms of knowledge.

The last hour of the book had some parts that were a bit hard to follow, but that was probably due to being distracted while listening at the time.

Ok look, I'm not going to go on about how great and perfect the book was, tons of people already have. What's up with those bells and chimes at the start of EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER? For chapter of a different prospective fine. But every one? Every time? It's not needed. Half the time it's put over the Narrators voice when she announces the next chapter. Either shorten it, tone it down or get rid of it entirely

Great intro for me to LitRPG!

The narration is AMAZING! This is not my typical genre and I ordinarily would have skipped but but I'm glad I took a chance! It was a great listen! I loved the descriptions and the world building. The characters are great as well. The only con is that sometimes it was information overload and I had to re-listen several times to truly understand.

Outside of that, I'd absolutely listen to it again and any sequels!
