What a great Isekai litRPG adventure! Grab the audiobook and enjoy!

This was prolly the strangest Isekai litRPG adventure I've read as the MC, Victor Asteriscus had no idea of that! It wasn't until his team/friends had attacked him and left him for dead when he learned about his previous life. Victor was truly dying when he stumbled across the academy, and by becoming the Headmaster, it allowed the magic within the academy to save Victor. And the first thing he noticed besides being fully healed and the newly acquired past life memories is Lizbeth the fairy his assistant! And his first quest is to gain students! How?!? You might wonder... in this hostile environment where the only people he knows are the traitors that had tried to kill 'em. At his fairy's insistence he needed to induct them from earth and convince them that this is a totally imersive MMORPG game! So yeah he digs into the memories of his life on earth and contacts his gaming buddies to pull off the scam! Thus begins Headmaster Victor Astralium's Academy new career! Scamming the "students" 😆 but also teaching them real magic and he too benefits gaining levels as his teaching ability unleashed new skills...

Unique and original

Very original premise. I liked how it played with established VR and isekai tropes. I thought it was a cool concept. Interestingly it was more cultivation than LitRPG in the system. Entertaining book with a lot of potential in the future. The narration was very well done.

This it's a must read

This is a must read, it can be a little long on description, and it's something where if you've read the wandering in, you'll begin to appreciate, I think what's being done here. This is one of those books where the characters have something to say, but you know, they're going to have more to say in the next book. You're going to get Real world problems. We have some interesting solutions to it. In both worlds, so hopefully, this one won't take too long for the next 1 2 come out.

Interesting premise

I don't really like the voice for "Lizbeth". But there is a good range of voices regardless! Hopefully more in this series are a little more exciting, as this felt like the entire book was setting up for the next few. I was kind of expecting more crazy nonsense from the title. But overall it was still good.

I’m hooked

Top notch world building with excellent story, with several popcorn antics. I got hooked into the story and listened to it in a single day. Has clear sense of direction, of where is head to and I’m for sure continuing the series.

freaking amazing.

once I started this I couldn't stop listening. the MC stumbled in a secret mage academy ruins. where he can bring people from earth by the magic threw avatars, and creates a fake game and slowly brings more people into the game world. I'm sure better people can explain better, but all you need to know is it's pretty awesome. can't wait for the next book

Audio is so bad.

The "HEHEHE!" "HAHAHA!" is atrocious.
The voice of the fairy is nails on a chalk board.
The sound effects done vocally for the spiders is louder than the rest of the audio, and is worse than the fairy voice somehow.

The writing/characters/world are below average for this genre.

Spiders do not "slither". That is the level of poor this book is at, describing spiders as slithering.

Not for me

I received the promo code for this book from Aethon, so it's my obligation to write a review.

As stated, this book is not for me not only because I can't stand the narrator (His voice sounds like what you would think a Panic Pete Squeeze Toy would sound like) but also because the weird rambling style of storytelling herein just never landed FOR ME.

The old saying 'can't find purchase' when describing an attempt to gain a foothold applies here as this offering never came close to grab any part of my mind or interest. The characters are just an amalgam of a million other characters, absolutely NOTHING about this book stands out as interesting or unique. Good bye.
