Blood ties run deep. But some legacies are forged by choice, not birthright.

Azlo and Nadir, twins and heirs to the Unseelie Throne, have crossed into the Prime Realm to escape the crushing expectations of royalty. They want a fresh start, a chance to grow without their family’s shadow looming over them every step of the way.

Too bad the orcs believe Nadir is a divine savior sent by Uk’Beth to lead them to war, and Azlo is whisked away to unlock the potential of his class with the reclusive dwarves of Djurn Forge. Separated by necessity, Nadir works to dissuade the orcs from the war path while Azlo hurries to learn as much as he can—all so he can stand on his own two feet without his family needing to save him. Neither of the twins wish to be swallowed by the latest Brindollan affairs...

...they came to write their own story, and they’re not leaving until their names are carved into legend.

Legacy by Christopher Johns isn’t just a book—it’s like a deep conversation with that one friend who’s wise, slightly intense, but somehow still makes you laugh while making you rethink your entire life.

Christopher Johns doesn’t just write—he soul-searches with a pen. He opens up his heart, mind, and probably his old journal entries, and the result is a book that feels like therapy... but cheaper, and with fewer awkward silences.

This isn’t your average leadership fluff piece. No vague “believe in yourself” nonsense here. Johns tells it like it is—with honesty, heart, and a surprising amount of emotional judo. One moment you're nodding along, the next you're re-evaluating your life choices while eating cereal at 2 a.m.

Whether you're the boss, the new hire, a teacher, a parent, or just someone who enjoys a good existential crisis over coffee, Legacy gives you tools for growth, reflection, and possibly a few misty-eyed moments (we won’t tell).

And those questions at the end of each chapter? Be warned—they're less "fun quiz" and more "philosophical gut punch." But in a good way. Like kale for your soul.

By the end, you’ll laugh, you’ll ponder, and you’ll probably text your mom. Legacy is the rare kind of book that hugs you, challenges you, and leaves you wondering why more authors aren’t this real.

Pie.

This is another work of art Penned by Chris Johns and I love it just like all those that came before this one. Keep writing the good books and keep fighting the good fight.

This was a satisfying conclusion to the coming of age of Zeke's kids. The narration was seamless, it had lots of action and new types of crafting, and it had a strong end.

Excellent conclusion to this young adult arc

I have waited several years for Christopher John's to finally write a sequel to his first Brindolan affairs. I was highly disappointed. To me this is nothing more than the messy made with mephisto's magic online which he still hasn't finished.

There are multiple times throughout this book when he references things that make absolutely no sense to the reader, even if like me they read all of his other books. The ending of the book does not make any sense either. Zeke and Storm company return but now it's to fight against the very gods who brought him to Brindola in the original axe druid series. While that plotline might actually work it needed a bit more fleshing out before it was just thrust into the reader's face.

I think, in summary, that Christopher John's has become the kind of author who writes for himself instead of writing for his readers. I find this very saddening Because the Axe Druid series was one of my first forays into litRPG and still remains one of my favorites.

Personally I think if he's going to keep writing he needs to find himself a new set of editors.

Disjointed and disappointing
