loved it!!!

hilarious, passionate romance!!! Love the story line and characters!!! Narrators were excellent and made the book even better!!! :-) Love Laura Layne's books!!!

Friendship

An example of friends and the reality of life. Watch as these two handle each other's friends. Then they have to figure out how to handle each other. Love the dialogue.

Mason Lloyd is a wonderful narrator. Allison Pike speaks too fast. Maybe it's just me.

Cute Story

I really thought the story about Parker and Ben was quite charming. I loved the chemistry of the two. I think the best kind of relationship starts out with two people being friends. It was very cute and didn’t drag on forever like some books tend to do.

The only negative thing is that I didn’t care for the two people who narrated the book. They weren’t awful, but when you’re used to hearing actors like Zachary Webber and Joe Arden, you tend to compare others with them.

I really enjoyed this story... I could so see me in Parker. I’m such a sucker for a great romance story. I didn’t want it to end.

Just ok

The set up for this friends to lovers eventual fwb story was cool, but nothing special. All the love scenes are closed door and took almost half the book to get to(it’s not a long read) but don’t go into detail.

Parker was a little too mom-ish for my taste; she cleans and washes his clothes. He’s super dependent on her and he’s nothing special so I have clue what she saw in him outside of looks. Ben was a little too sexist for my taste. Gender roles were too traditional for my taste in general with this book. I ignore it normally as long as it’s not overdone but Ben was just useless outside of sex so I didn’t really connect to him. The narrators worked to improve the story but it just wasn’t enough.

Redemption, friendship, & ❤️

This was such a great story. I really enjoying the banter, the friendships and, most of all, their love story. ❤️

You will really enjoy this book. I couldn't put it down. The story is so charming.

Cute,Sweet, and predictable

This book was entertaining enough. It’s a nice cute story if you want something light hearted about looking for love when it’s right in front of you. It’s like a hallmark movie book. The end was very predictable but feels goods. The narrators are excellent made the book flow well. I would listen to other books they narrate in the future.

A Feel Good Read!!

This is a book I constantly go back to when I need a pick me up on relationships. I encourage everyone to listen to it for it will make you laugh and cry (but in a good way). With a HEA at the end.

So frustrating! Obviously a great relationship but it took Forever to get them together. Not until the last 5 minutes.
