My Two Pennies

Usually we read how the girls always the one looking for love but in Jamie's case she's the total opposite and it's Quinn that's the believer. This is a great friends to lovers story that I couldn't get enough of. From the very beginning I'm cracking up from with the games these two play with one another. Quinn and the little things that he does are just so damn sweet. The selfies and hashtags to go along with them, say so little yet so much all at once. Jamie takes her time and battles with herself but in the end who wouldn't want their very own man candy model?. Such a great story and a must read.

Pleasantly Surprised

I initially go this book because of Brook, I really like her narration so I thought y not. Well I must say I was pleasantly surprised as I really enjoyed the story. The cover and the blurb do not do the story justice. I thought this was going to be the normal push and pull, h gives in boom done. NOPE it was not. Characters a very well developed and the emotions and issues in this story are relatable. I am glad I took a chance on this one. Thank you Melanie for such a well developed mature read/listen.
Brook did a great job with her narration and Lee is someone I will definitely be looking out to hear more from.

I loved this five star audio! Harlow delivers a steamy, yummy, sexy, funny romance that will satisfy both your naughty and nice fantasies. The witty banter and sexy games Quinn and Jaime play will get your heart racing, make you blush, and have you craving more.

Some spoilers;
When Jamie was a teenager, she confessed her feelings to her brother's best friend Quinn; however, Quinn deflects her admission in part out of respect for the family who's been good to him. He didn't feel it would be right to take advantage of the situation. He's devastatingly handsome and soon lands a modeling job that takes him away for one modeling gig after another.

Years later, Jaime is all grown up and has a successful career but life has taught her true love doesn't exist. She's happy with her life, and close friends, but doesn't believe she needs a man or a relationship to make her happy. Oh, she will date from time to time, have hot sex but with her rules she will never commit or say the "L" word.

Jamie and her brother both own an apartment building that has two apartments attached. She lives in one of the apartments; however, her brother decides to temporarily rent out the other apartment to Quinn who is back in town because he is wants to start working on changing careers. At first, Jamie doesn't want anything to do with Quinn, but he soon convinces her to go out on a date in an attempt to convince her love does exist. Quinn finds Jamie's walls and rules are tough barriers but he works patiently to break through them all.

Man Candy had me smiling, blushing, swooning and laughing, and I devoured, savored and craved every minute. It was well worth the time and credit, and I'm happy to have found another author to follow.

Lee Samuels and Brooke Bloomingdale performance rocked. I loved how they delivered all the sweet, sultry, steamy scenes. I look forward to listening to more audios by either of these narrators.

Another Winner

I read this trilogy out of order, but no matter. I loved this book- the story was beautiful and especially now I could use a happy ending. Great read- the first date was so hilarious I was crying.
I so recommend this book.

Such a wonderfully romantic, second chance, brothers best friend story!!! The characters were fantastic and the narrators were perfect! Totally recommend this book by Melanie Harlow!!!

Well written story with excellent narration. Fun twist on the traditional commitment-phobe. This time it is the girl with that issue. Steamy. Not for under 18.

Quinn & Jaime

Thoroughly enjoyed this story. The only lagging part is Jaimes resistance to feelings and love and what caused her reluctance in allowing herself to accept and give, even her parents situations didn't seem the overall reason. Quinns patience in giving her the room she needed i expected more push. Their intimacy was definitely scorching hot and the Chicken game was amusing. Both Narrators did a great job. looking forward to the next book with Margot.

I loved this book from start to finish. It made me laugh and blush at the same time. This is the type of book I'm always so happy to find because I can listen to it over and over. The narrators were excellent and this book was so entertaining and I say it's definitely worth the credit.
