What a story!

This love story is so sweet. It has a lot of upbeat moments, heart melting love, and humor. I found myself giggling constantly throughout the books. I also appreciated the break from my A typical smut books. Though there is a few heated moments, it's not constant. Definitely worth listening to, and probably worth listening to more than once.

Walker and Ellie

A charming, witty, entertaining and heartwarming romance. I enjoyed going on this sweet journey with Walker and Ellie. Good story! Narration is fantastic.

This book was short but so good. It was a good read for a beginner reader (listener) like me. I love how in detail it is and how she displays their love for each other in this story. I felt like I really knew these characters. It was a great book

Cute Story...Good for Author's 1st Novel

Cute story...I'm pleased that there was conflict in the story without making it a drama! The plot is simple and set in modern times. The author gives the characters a little background and describes their reasoning/feelings but this is somewhat a shorter book, so there isn't a long timeline with complex characters with depth. Not something that would be turned into an epic movie but that's perfectly fine. It's still a really cute story with good characters, passion, heat, and a little humor. (Parents, whose only free time is while driving, will really appreciate this book).

Now, it does start out a little low, but I have to remind myself that most books do. The first chapter does start off in medias res, so points for that, but then it slows down for a bit. I tried getting my ADHD husband to listen to it but he said there were too many girly details (like wardrobe) and he didn't get passed chapter 2, LOL. He also wasn't interested in hearing another guy describe something intimate.

The narrators did an excellent job but I found most of the time I was laughing was due to them doing the different voices. Dual narration would be much better for the listener but I'm not sure that would be appropriate for the narrators.

Really good all around...

I really enjoyed this book! It had the perfect mix of heart, humor, and heat. This was my first by the author, and I’m definitely coming back for more. There were so many laugh out loud moments!

The chemistry between Ellie and Walker was fantastic—her sass and his steady charm played so well off each other. Ellie’s heartbreak and Walker’s determination to win her over totally melted me. And let’s just say… Walker’s relationship with his nephew and that gift-to-womankind body? Yeah, swoon-worthy. A heartfelt, funny, and sexy listen that hit all the right notes. Loved it!

Alexander Cendese was great, as always—I love his narration. But Lynn Barrington? So good. Her female voice work is solid, but her oh so sexy male voice absolutely stole the show. She made every male line sound smooth, confident, and seriously swoon-worthy. Clearly, she knows exactly what sexy sounds like. Such a fun and fabulous listen!

And the twist—wow. I never saw it coming, but when it hit… total mic drop.

It was so good and I can’t wait to read more books! So good, and listening to the different voices make it better.

Good book, Terri le male narration.

The male voice of Walker as he was "speaking" as Polly or any other female was horrible. It made it difficult to even listen to.

Light and sweet

I loved all the characters. Light hearted without too much drama. Sometimes we need being entertained kind of happy beach read.

This book had an overall very sweet storyline. Mixed with some of the sexy stuff for a really good listen.
