OBSESSED with this series!

I will absolutely devour any audio with duet narration but duet with multi-cast… take my money please!

I was around 40% through reading this book, I should’ve just waited but I couldn’t… when I saw audio released I started back at the beginning and OMG soooooo worth it… this cast is beyond perfection! I caught things I missed while reading w/o audio… I can’t say enough about each narrator so perfect! Absolutely heartbreaking to listen to stitches vs just reading the words… J. Tipstone truly brings the pain through the words AND ugh let’s hope “Sinful” redeems himself! Can’t wait for the rest of the audios!

It’s time to go back to Chapel Crest! The Watchers have been waiting. Once more K.G. Reuss has brought us a masterpiece. This one is, honestly, my favorite of the series, but I could be biased because Ashes is 🤌🏽. It goes without saying that this is an excellently written DARK bully RH with a rich plot and enough spice to make you feel guilty listening at work. Which brings me to the audio… perfection. Our boys (and Siren, of course) are brought to life so seamlessly that you feel like you’re actually involved in the conversation. Even the ones you DON’T want to be in (I’m looking at you, Sully). Just a heads up though… make sure your Bluetooth is Bluetoothing correctly, because you don’t want your office neighbor hearing some of these scenes. 🥵😬

Hooked

The third book in the Boys of Chapel Crest series was a dark, emotional thriller, and it has its hooks in me...deep. My blood pressure spiked, and I was glued to every twist and trauma that unfolded.

The full cast, duet-style narration of the audiobook was absolutely amazing. I could not ask for more from this stellar cast, and now I’m stuck on the edge of my seat anxiously waiting for the next one!

how they were able to embody the characters and the emotions so on point with the book has left me speechless! it just keeps getting better and better with each book I'm at a loss for words! already itching to hear Stitches book! truly amazing!!

Ashes by K.G. Ruess is such an emotional ride, I LOVED IT, even though it hurt! It cracks you open with its raw, honest portrayal of trauma and abuse, but somehow still manages to hold space for love, humor, and the quiet strength of found family. You feel everything, the pain, the fear, the betrayal, and the hope. It dives deep into the psychological and physical abuse some characters endure. Yes, it deals with heavy trauma, abuse, and survival but there’s light in the darkness. K.G. slips in so many laugh-out-loud moments to help you get through the hurt and the pain. This series is an absolute masterpiece and I will stand on this hill forever.

I read this book first and listened to the audiobook. I highly recommend the audiobooks. I can’t express how phenomenal the voice acting was for this series! I would not call it narrating because it was voice acting. This cast put EVERYTHING into these stories and truly brought them to life!

“What do we do when we feel like we can’t breathe, brother?” “W-we fucking do it anyway,” he answered in a shaky voice. “And what do we do when we get lost in the darkness?” “W-we become the darkness.” He breathed out, the trembling slowing in his body.
“Right. And what do we do when we need help?” “We t-trust each other to protect our sanity.”

This is the darkest so far in the series but I could not stop listening. The way it just takes hold of you and makes you feel everything. You feel for every character. That is what a good story does. Is it dark? Yes. Should you check your triggers? Yes. Do I have any triggers? No. I like when a story makes my heart go a million miles an hour and not just cause it’s spicy. There is a reason to it all. This is the first series in a long time that I am going on to the next book without jumping. I cannot wait to see what happens next. That is what a good story does. It captures you and doesn’t let go. 10/10. And the cast performers absolutely kill it every single time!!!!!

Okay, I have to preface that Ashes was always my favorite of the Watchers but man… With Joe Arden voicing Church, ya girl is flip flopping like a fish out of water. I don’t know how many times I found myself in tears with this audiobook. It was beautiful and heartbreaking and I am so grateful this world is being brought to life.

J.Tipstones AMAZING performance in this book!

OMG! Reading these books is one thing but to listen to them and how well the performers perform is a whole other level. J. Tipstone as Stitches is absolutely one of the best things for this series! I cant wait for the next books to come out and to see where these performers take this series! Chapel Crest is my favorite of this universe and I love all the connections with the rest of the series!
