Should have just kept 1 narrator

I usually don’t mind male/ female narrators but for this story the males voice just didn’t fit Plus his pauses after each sentence was just a second too long. The female narrator is amazing and she could have easily carried the story as she did in the first book. Over all I love these books and this author.

Choose a better male narrator next time

Dear God, who thought it was a good idea to hire a high school math teacher to narrate Dravyn's parts? This was absolutely the wrong choice of voice actor for his character. I love the story, but his voice (particularly for Dravyn) makes this audiobook difficult to listen to.

Epic Conclusion

What an emotional journey in this conclusion to the duology. So much action and emotion.

Great narration

Did not enjoy listening to the man narrator

The male narrator’s voice does not match the character. Really disappointing since the female narrator does so well with adding emotions to her voice.

Really enjoyed this story. Loved the ending.

Only complaint is the male narrator. His voice is too weak to play Dravyn. Pretty bad when the female narrator could deepen her voice to sound more manly. Should have stuck with her narrating the whole book.

The Male Narrator 👎

The story was good and I probably would’ve enjoyed it more if I had read rather than listened. The male narrator just ruined it for me. He was flat and soo different from the voice the female narrator used for him. I rarely leave bad reviews but want to encourage people to just read this one.

Need a new narrator for the male POV!!!!

I had to stop after five chapters and switch to book. The main male character narrator is not our MMC. The God of Fire should have a deep, sexy, powerful voice…in this narration he sounds like an old,frail uncle with a quirky sense of humor. When the female narrator can do a deeper voice for the male characters than the male narrator, there’s a problem! Super disappointing.

Male narrator doesn’t work

The male narrator ruined it. The female narrator provided a sexier, stronger, more masculine voice than the actual male narrator. He was a dweeby version of Draven. As soon as his voice was introduced, I thought-god no, everything is ruined now. I’m sure he’s great for narrating other literary works he does character voices well…but not romantic fantasy MMC
