Ocean is passionate about educating people on the reality of our food and how it effects the planet. This was informative and compassionate and supportive to the listener. It includes lots of research including very current research, yet written in an engaging friendly style. I listened twice and found it worthwhile both times. I would definitely recommend it.

Practical, profound, and extremely informative
I've read a number of similarly themed books (including by Dr. Mark Hyman, Vani Hari, etc.) so I was not expecting to hear too much new information. However, Ocean Robbins presents a fresh perspective with a unique way of how to apply it all in real life. He acknowledges that rejecting the modern American diet is a challenge when everyone around you is still on it. He offers wonderful stories and advice for bringing the knowledge to those you love without shoving it down their throats. His high pitched voice is quite intense in the beginning (some of the reviews that mention this are hilarious), but you get used to it and he actually has a very sweet demeanor that is pleasant overall. The stories he shares about his life and family are wonderful to listen to. Highly recommend this to everyone!!! Life saving and changing information in here.

I finally found THE Health book I must share!

A committed vegan
Nothing in this book I haven’t read, thought about or heard before. However, it is so good for me to get refreshed in my commitment to myself to animals to our planet for why this is so important. Ocean writes in a way that makes it comfortable for anybody no matter where they are on their journey.

The chapters are short and give good suggestions for implementing the items learned in each chapter.

I wish I learned all of this long time agoI already listen to oceans Father John Robbins and medical medium which started me on this journey I have totally turned vegan once in a while I may have cheese out and about but I try not to I am very very good about this all now. I gave up meat and I am giving up sugar and drink celery juice and I just love this journey of new amazing recipes. cooking without eggs and eating many delicious vegetables in different Ways. thank you thank you thank you!

Eye-opener
Ocean's lifelong passions are evident in this reader-friendly, action-oriented book. He has some noble and lofty goals for our planet, but they are rooted in everyday actions we can all get behind. For example, I'd seen/heard about CAFO's numerous times, but his impassioned words have shown them to me in a whole new light. Changes must be made for the good of our world, and this book is a great place to start to find our place in all that.
