I bought a physical copy when this first came out and had to get the audio version to see how it compares. I loved the story both times, and ranted at all my friends that read dark romances to get into this book.

HEA without kids or pregnancy will always be something I am immediate drawn to, thank you to Allie for making this.

I greatly enjoyed the book and found it very spicy, however I was waiting for 1 or 2 more scenes from Claire's POV with ideas of/ the gears turning on how to taunt and tease Shane. Loved the banter, the cutesy-ness, I just want more lol

I’m going to be honest, I was terrified of reading this book because it sounded perfect for me and I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the hype. But holy moly was this book amazing! The spice was incredible and I loved Shane and Claire so much!

I love a man who falls first and Shane fell hard and fast but was afraid to admit it. So after some light stalking he made Claire an offer she couldn’t refuse. I also really loved Shane’s character growth. He initially used the contract as a way to keep walls between him and Claire but as his feeling for her grew he realizes his mistakes and took steps to fix them. Nothing is hotter than a man who admits he is wrong and Shane did this several times throughout the book and I loved it, even if it took him a while.

I loved Claire. I loved her strength and confidence in her love of the chase. I hated her ex for everything he did to her but I love that it ultimately brought her to Shane. She was afraid of being hurt again but didn’t stop her from giving things with Shane a try.

The spice in this book was scorching! Seriously one of the hottest books I’ve read in a hot minute and I loved every second of it.

I already can’t wait to see what Allie writes next!

I LOVE this book! It was perfect, 10 out of 10! New kink unlocked- hunting?! I couldn’t get enough! I started it this morning and am sad it’s over. I love Claire and Shane!! I love how the fun stuff started right away, first couple chapters, not a long drawn out build up. I love how their romance and relationship built up and how Shane kept working to be perfect for her. I love how there wasn’t a third act breakup or something stupid tearing them apart, they resolved any conflict fast and back to the games and love. I truly loved this book. Definitely recommend!!

To be completely and totally honest I wasn’t entirely sure how a whole book written about a primal play contract was going to pan out but this just WORKED. I absolutely LOVED the dynamic between Claire and Shane, both physically (because HOLY HOTNESS) and eventually emotionally. Do not be fooled, when this says HIGH SPICE, this means HIGH FREAKING SPICE and don’t get it twisted this baby is a fasttttt burn. Deliciously and perfectly fast, no messing around and I was HERE for it.

Shane was a perfectly lovable introvert who’s endearing, mild stalking tendencies are what initially get Claire to enter his 30 day contract. Little does she know we were all falling into his trap of adoring him. Claire was just as much predator at heart as she was prey and to watch her get this HEA after her creep-o husband does her so dirty was so satisfying. I’m praying for a Margot and Caine follow up. That tension was a BREWING. 4/5 stars!!

Willing Prey is the perfect blend of keenk and comedy. I laughed so hard, so many times, and yet this story is like 90% absolutely filthy spice. Shane and Claire were adorable, so much fun and incredibly hot, and I could not get enough. I just one more chaptered my way well past my bedtime; as I hit the three quarters mark, I needed to see how it ended and I regret nothing.

Can you have a slow burn where they're spicing it up from the beginning? Because while these two are doing the dirty in the woods from the get go, their actual relationship is the sweetest build up. Watching Shane navigate his feelings and attempt to subtly woo Claire was my favorite part of this book. He was a little awkward and had no clue what he was doing half the time, but it was so endearing and perfect. I loved him, and her, so dang much.

The third act was amazing, I love watching a villain fall flat on their face. That's all I gotta say about that.

I fell hard and fast for Caine and Margot. I'm crossing my fingers and toes we get their book soon. Allie writes incredibly strong women and I know Margot is going to be a fantastic addition to that list. I really loved watching her and Claire's relationship bloom and I'm looking forward to more of their shenanigans. Maybe we can even get a bonus scene of them doing self defense class *wink wink nudge nudge* whatever's next, I'm absolutely here for it.

I did a release day listen and holy canoly, I loved this book just as much the second time around, if not more because Amy Hall and Aaron Shedlock did an incredible job narrating these characters. I absolutely loved this listen!

I had so much fun with this book!! The characters and plot were great. I loved their growth together. I had read the novella before it got expanded into this novel length, and I enjoyed all the extra elements.

This will definitely be a book I revisit when I want something comforting ❤️❤️❤️

So freaking awesome. The characters are fantastic. The story is so freakin good. The voice acting is stellar. Please please pleeease give me more. I will absolutely beg for for it. I'm already desperate for the next book. There's a certain brother that I totally need to hear the story for.
