I greatly enjoyed the book and found it very spicy, however I was waiting for 1 or 2 more scenes from Claire's POV with ideas of/ the gears turning on how to taunt and tease Shane. Loved the banter, the cutesy-ness, I just want more lol

I’m going to be honest, I was terrified of reading this book because it sounded perfect for me and I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the hype. But holy moly was this book amazing! The spice was incredible and I loved Shane and Claire so much!
I love a man who falls first and Shane fell hard and fast but was afraid to admit it. So after some light stalking he made Claire an offer she couldn’t refuse. I also really loved Shane’s character growth. He initially used the contract as a way to keep walls between him and Claire but as his feeling for her grew he realizes his mistakes and took steps to fix them. Nothing is hotter than a man who admits he is wrong and Shane did this several times throughout the book and I loved it, even if it took him a while.
I loved Claire. I loved her strength and confidence in her love of the chase. I hated her ex for everything he did to her but I love that it ultimately brought her to Shane. She was afraid of being hurt again but didn’t stop her from giving things with Shane a try.
The spice in this book was scorching! Seriously one of the hottest books I’ve read in a hot minute and I loved every second of it.
I already can’t wait to see what Allie writes next!
