I loved the story, how Rebel took control of her own futures. Not a fan of the female narrator’s masculine voice. Male narrator was awesome. I would love to see Evie and Harper’s story!

I have to say 'Lights Out' has ruined me for another "dark/comedy romance, but I heard everyone say this was a funny dark romance.... it was just frustrating.

the narrators were absolute perfection in their roles. any issues I had with storyline didnt involve them. chefs kiss!!

I totally enjoyed this story. It's fast paced and so interesting. Has lots of insta-steam 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and some chuckles too.
The narration is good as well. Sean Masters has a bit slower delivery and Lucy Rivers is a bit faster on her delivery, so the pacing felt a little off, but they both do a great job acting the parts of Rook and Rebel.
Totally worth the credit and time!

great story, I did slow the speed, due to the feeling of being rushed. but the spice, the plot, the revenge/loyalty of the story was amazing.

The story was good loved the male narrator. The female narrator was horrible. It sounded like she was reading it off of a script the whole time it really killed it for me.

The book itself was good, and I think I would have enjoyed the story more had I not listen to the audiobook. I did not enjoy the female narrator and found it very distracting, especially when she tried to do a male voice.

I lost all patience with this book by Chapter 7 and gave up entirely by Chapter 20.

Rook & Rebel reads like a high schooler's attempt at writing an “edgy” romance. The plot is over explained, and the female protagonist is so naive that she comes off as unintelligent. This book desperately needed more grit.

The narration didn't help either. The breathy portrayal of the female character was grating. Confusingly, the female narrator who voiced Rebel also read Rook’s lines during her chapters, while another narrator did Rook's voice in his chapters. Why?
