The narrators did a wonderful job at bringing Gigi’s story to life! I was enchanted from beginning to end. HD does it again!!

I’m so sad that I don’t already have the second book!!! She never ever disappoint. Every book that I have ever read has been wonderful and this one was just as good as the others I loved everything about this book. I just hate that I have to wait for the second one now.

I really appreciate Carlton’s dedication to to the 1940’s time line. You can tell she did her research, even though intimacy and what we consider ‘normal’ nowadays is vastly different…she still kept it steamy and intense!

Though it was a short story, it stood on its own merit apart from The Cat and Mouse Duet

I loved hearing about how gigs life was so interesting. Also the phrase like mother like daughter should be changed to like grandmother like granddaughter lol awesome story.

If you are planing on reading this story, I highly recommend reading Haunting/Hunting Adeline first. We are introduced to GiGi through her journal that her great granddaughter, Adeline, reads throughout Haunting Adeline. This story ends abruptly.

Phantom is a forbidden romance between Renaldo and Genevieve (GiGi) in the 1940s. Gigi is married to John, but she falls for another man (Renaldo). I loved reading GiGi's story and how the love affair with Renaldo started and developed.
