Bram is a Los Angeles-based meditation practitioner, teacher, and writer whose primary focus is to make the practice accessible and useful to everyone in an everyday sort of way. His meditation practice began at a Vipassana retreat led by S.N. Goenka just in Igatpuri, India just after 9/11. In the years since he's studied - Kwan Um Zen, Vedic Meditation, Tibetan Buddhism, and Mindfulness. In 2018, he received his certification in Mindfulness Facilitation from UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Arts in Spiritual and Depth Psychology at Antioch University and teaching mindfulness to clientele of all ages, ranges of experience, and varieties of background, from public groups to private individuals. His hope is to help people relate to themselves and others with greater awareness, open-heartedness, and if they can handle it, a sense of humor.
