Jacklyn is a new to me author. She started the book with lots of heat and it didn't disappoint at all. I loved how she explained the world of male Revue dancers. It's more complex than it's initially perceived as. The characters were flawed and they intrigued me right away. When Colby becomes a member of Male Under Revue he didn't know at the time the kind of involvement he needed to do would question his morals. I loved how overprotective and obsessed he was of Sienna. I adored Sienna. I loved seeing her character growth. In the past she was a people pleaser, but now living in Vegas she did what made her happy. I loved that she took the control back in her life.
As for the audiobook narration, it's amazing! Performed in duet by James Cassidy and Marie Hawkins. These two gave captivating performances. James is a new to me narrator. I love his voice!! He does a great Australian accent. It's so good! He was how I imagined Colby to sound like. James exuded Colby's confidence and brought out his obssessiveness for Sienna. Marie captured Sienna's softness in the beginning and when she moved to Vegas Marie's tone also changes. It's subtle, but she conveys Sienna with a fiercer tone. Together James and Marie brought the story and characters to life. The duet narration added more depth to the storytelling. I loved listening to every minute of it! Highly recommend!

The Bloke throws you straight into the gritty heat of Las Vegas with Colby, a male entertainer pulled into a secret society where the cost of power is blood. It’s dark, twisted, and full of chemistry that doesn’t quit. Colby falls first and hard but watching Sienna slowly give in makes the journey even more satisfying.
Now let’s talk about the audiobook, because it was phenomenal.
James Cassidy absolutely delivered this wasn’t just narration, it was full-blown performance. From every breath and growl to the tiniest detail, he brought Colby to life. I’d listen to him again in a heartbeat.
And Mari Hawkins? Top-tier, as always. She was Sienna fiery, strong, and full of attitude. Her voice brought depth and heart to the character in every scene.
Together, their duet narration made this story unforgettable. If you’re into dark romance audiobooks with immersive performances and a story that grips you from the start, The Bloke is a must.

WOW!!!!! I am truly blown away. I already loved The Bloke but the audiobook version kicked it into high gear! Like holy freaking hotness!!!! James was fanfreakingtastic!!! He didn't just narrate Colby, he is Colby! His Narration was everything and more. Let's just say you might need some new undies after listening to his spicy scenes! I officially have a new second favorite narrator. Go ahead and take all my money now. I need all his audiobooks. That's how incredible he is. Now let's talk about Marie. She brought our fiesty girl Sienna to life. I throughly enjoyed her narration. She has a way of making you want more. You don't want to stop listening to either one of these narrators. If the other books in this series end up as amazing as this book was, I'll be a happy camper. Seriously if you love audiobooks and have not given this series a chance yet this is your warning/invitation to buy it! You will not be disappointed at all.

Colby is not only sex in a suit or lack thereof... but throw in an Australian accent and a possession "problem" if you call it that but also do anything to make you happy¡! Could there be a better guy??!! Sure, his employment was not what "normal" people would seem acceptable and maybe a bit bloody.
Sienna running away from a life that was never hers but living for others and others dreams. To be free and to who ever she wanted to be ... secrets 🙊 though may just ruin everything!!

I was blown away by this book, my first by Jacklyn Parker. It was fun, and intriguing, and the spice was on point. I am so ready for book two, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to d!e waiting for it to come out. This was so well written and unlike a few books I’ve listened to lately kept me on the edge of my seat, and had twists and turns I was not expecting. If you like your MMC OTTP with a good heart he only shows to her, then you will love this book. Now on to our narrators, who are two of my recent favorites. They are so talented in everything I’ve listened to them perform, but I can honestly say that no one else would be able to fill these roles. Marie was fantastic as Sienna, the complete embodiment of this feisty, independent FMC. Then we have James, and I can honestly Sai I am deep into my James Cassidy era, but this man has some mad skills. Not only does his voice send shivers up and down my spine, but his accent in this book is incredible. You will want this as soon as it is available…in fact go pre-order it now.

One night and Sienna and Colby are thrust together, and after waking up married, Sienna finds herself in a world she never knew existed, with a man she knows nothing about. Colby knows Sienna is the only woman for him, but will he be able to make her see, he is the only one for her as well?

Holy moly I just love James Cassidy! And him with an Australian accent! I just melted!
Sienna is a dance instructor who is tired of others trying to decide where her life should lead. She is fierce, fiesty, and sassy. I love that she is a 100% bad add FMC. She isn’t taking crap from anyone.
Colby is a cinnamon roll at heart but morally grey. He grew up in a family farm but he turned away from that life wanting more than small life living. He found himself living in Vegas and working for a secret society.
One night during the male review performance Colby spits out girl Sienna and has to have her. Things get interesting and spicy from there!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book. The spice was amazing and the narrators did a fantastic job performing the story.

Author Jacklyn Parker was not playing when she came with this! From the moment the MCs Sienna and Colby locked eyes there was an instant connection and smexy chemistry!!! After a crazy drunken night in Vegas Colby is obsessed and addicted to our FMC Sienna. Colby will do anything to have Sienna. This Dark Romance is full of filthy dirty talk, 🥵 swoon-worthy moments, Plot twists, spicy scenes, and unaliving! Also, if you’re not a fan of the word C$NT don’t listen!😂
Let’s talk about Voice actors, this was a duet narration.
Marie Hawkins k!lls it as always, she brings the emotion, attitude, and the spice! I am a huge fan of Marie. ❤️
James Cassidy was new to me and I am putting this guy at the top of the roster. HOLY SH!t! 🥵James not only came with the sexy Australian accent but he even added the sound effects! YES sound effects! James growls sucks and moans his way through every spicy scene. Not only that but I swooned every time Colby calls Sienna LOVE in that gorgeous Australian accent.
